It would not input or output data to the computer.

After doing some troubleshooting with my oscilloscope, and drawing on my years of Fanuc experience - I determined that the input/output chip was defective.

I removed and replaced this one chip and got the system running again within one day. I was able to repair the machine and the customer didn't have to purchase/replace the board.

I kept the cost to the customer at a minimum, and I completed the repair fast. The shop was back up and running making parts the next business day!

Check out our website at http://ohiomachinetoolrepair.com/

CNC & NC Machine Tool and Control Repair - Links and Article Trackbacks

Controlled Solutions is your one stop shop for CNC & NC Machine Tool and Control Repair.

30 Years Experience

Controlled Solutions can repair all mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, CNC, and TTL logic controls.
